Privacy Policy
AIPC collects only the information currently necessary to respond to institutional inquiries and credential-verification requests. When a visitor uses the verification form, the credential ID and the credential holder’s last name are entered in the visitor’s browser. The form prepares a message for the visitor’s email application; the information is not transmitted to AIPC until the visitor chooses to send that email. AIPC may also receive names, work contact details, organization information, cohort estimates and any other information a person voluntarily sends to office@aipcglobal.org.
AIPC uses this information only to verify credential status, answer questions, evaluate an organization’s needs, prepare an institutional proposal, coordinate an assessment or certification engagement, maintain appropriate records, protect assessment integrity and comply with applicable obligations. AIPC does not sell personal information or use it for unrelated advertising. Except where disclosure is required by law, AIPC does not share personal information with third parties without the person’s consent.
Verification requests and general correspondence are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction, then securely deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required to resolve an appeal, protect assessment integrity, maintain a credential record or satisfy a legal obligation. Core credential records may be retained while a credential is active and for a reasonable archival period afterward so its historical status can be confirmed. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect retained information. Privacy questions or requests for access, correction or deletion may be sent to office@aipcglobal.org.
